Taking the lead

Whether by fate or choice…

Singing my song

Living life is my voice.

Dreams just delayed

With the birth of a child

Vision still clear

As it’s been for awhile.

SoLo I parent

Love my child (ren) around.

Life is the music

And they add to my sound.

Writing my song

Each child is a lyric.

Raising them well

So the world can hear it!

It isn’t always easy

Sometimes it gets rough.

God always got me

And He’s more than enough.

When it gets stormy

God’s refuge is right there.

When times are sunny

He shows me love and care.

Need understanding

His Spirit shares the Word.

Need encouragement

Praise Him….you haven’t heard?

Parenting SoLo

Still I’m never alone

Loving my children

Well after they’re grown

Gotta sing my song

Until the music the ends.

No applause needed

I’ll love and love again.
